What is an "Exclusive Right to Sell" listing?
Answer:
This type of listing is the most commonly used with full service. With this type of listing, the agent does the most work in order to sell your home. Activities may include placing it on the MLS, marketing your home to other agents, holding open houses, handling showing requests and coordinating the closing process. A commission is due if the home is sold, regardless of who finds the buyer. The commission is how the agent earns a return on his or her investment in marketing of your home.
